Sofia University, formerly known as the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) and founded in 1975, is a private, WSCUC-accredited institution. In the process of more than 40 years of development, Sofia University has become a senior university integrating undergraduate, master and doctor, which has been officially certified by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Ministry of education of China. 

The universities have signed academic cooperation agreement.
