Welcome to Shantou University (STU)! As a globally-oriented university, we are committed to fostering academic originality, innovative spirit, open-mindedness. STU always welcomes exchange students and provides the ideal learning and living environment to help our international students strive in their academics and engage with the university community. STU has established close academic ties with 118 universities from 29countries and regions. The exchange students from partner universities study in STU (take courses or do research) for one to two semesters and transfer back the credits to their home university. There are nearly 40 programs open to the exchange students (Refer Table.1). Meanwhile, Chinese Language courses are offered to help them to learn basic Chinese.
