The National University of Quilmes was established in 1989 and ranked 75th in Latin America in the 2020 world university ranking. The school aims at teaching, scientific research, refresher courses, talent training and other concepts. The university consists of four departments and Colleges: Science and Technology Department, social science department, economics department and art college. 

The universities have signed academic cooperation agreement.
