The Nethersole School of Nursing was established in 1991, formerly known as the Department of nursing, School of medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong. The School cultivates excellent nurses to join the nursing profession, is committed to improving personal and community health locally, in the Asia Pacific region and around the world, and promotes the development of the nursing profession.

The Medical College signed a cooperation agreement with The Nethersole School of Nursing in 2015.
