Carleton University, founded in 1942, with the 2019-20 Operating budget of $489.1 million (excluding ancillaries). It is situated on 62 hectares just south of Ottawa’s city centre. Bordered by the Rideau River, the historic Rideau Canal, and pleasant residential neighbourhoods.

The cooperation between both universities have three related components: joint research, faculty exchange and student exchange, etc.
